 Update on world cup.

There have been no arrests in the Battle area during the showing of Englands World cup games. Everyone was good hearted and well behaved. Sadly, alas, there will be no more showing of England games. What more can I say!!!

 Further update on computer scam.

Please see e mail received from member of public

Regarding the warning in your email of 12th June, last evening I too received a call purporting to be from Microsoft about a ‘serious problem’. He knew my name. I shook him off and hung up.

I understand that, had one accepted the call as genuine, the caller would have gained access to the PC and downloaded some malware, so creating the ‘problem’, and would then ask for payment by credit card to ‘solve’ it. Other areas have been under this attack in recent months and it now appears to be our turn.

Please all take care if yourselves this week, and once again feel free to contact me at any time.

Kindest regards as ever

Dan Russell
