1. Highly visible and prominent position in Sedlescombe Conservation Area.
2. Intensification of car sales is contrary to the spirit of the original planning application and does not respect the character and appearance of the locality.
3. Prejudices the character, appearance and setting of listed buildings, some of which are 15th century.
4. Can be prominently viewed from Village Green which is a space of historic importance and is very noticeable from the 15th century Queen's Head garden destroying the ambience of the pub's historic setting within the Sedlescombe Conservation Area.
5. Unacceptable traffic conditions are produced because of poor visibility near the river bridge.
6. Parking of cars for sale on the concrete road prevents easy emergency access to the pumping station by southern Water Authority.
7. Parking on the concrete road means that Southern Water Authority employees have to find somewhere else to park.
8. No turning facilities available on the site.
