SPILSTEAD FARM AIRSTRIP, STREAM LANE, SEDLESCOMBE

 
  1. On 19/02/2009, under RR/2009/17/P, temporary planning permission was granted to "continue use of land as an airstrip without complying with temporary condition imposed on planning permission RR/98/1323/P". This permission expires 28/02/2019. The use has been restricted to Mr W Cole.

See appeal decision letter. This was extended to 31/12/2006 by RR/2005/2898/P.)

  3. In March 2011, a further planning application was submitted RR/2011/310/P - continued use of land as an airstrip without complying with condition 1 (temporary) and condition 2 (personal) on planning permission RR/2009/17/P. All other conditions imposed on RR/98/1323/P remain including the flight protocol (for details see decision notice). Sedlescombe Parish Council supported refusal of this application.
