Home Fire Safety Visits are carried out by East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service personnel to help raise fire safety standards and reduce the number of deaths and injuries that occur in the home. A visit will involve checking for any potential fire hazards, giving advice where necessary and fitting a smoke detector if applicable. Requests can now be made online and you can request a visit for yourself or on behalf of a friend or neighbour. See the Fire and Rescue Service Home Safety for further information. Or telephone 0800 177 7069. There is also lots of information on the Fire Service's Community Safety webpage. |
