The club was founded in 2007 with the aims to advance the welfare of the older people and, in particular, to endeavour to counteract loneliness and isolation. A number of events will be planned each year including Extend chair based exercises, Healthy Walking and a Lunch Club. The dates and times of these and other events will be published in Sedlescombe News and elsewhere that is appropriate.
