ADVERTISING AN EVENT ON THE VILLAGE GREEN

After obtaining written prior permission from the Parish Council, Village organisations organising charitable events may put up two direction signs on the Village Green on the day of the event only.

• The signs may be placed one each on the two sections of the Green.
• The signs must be removed immediately after the event.
• The size of each poster should not exceed 4 sq.ft and the height above of the ground of the top of the poster should not exceed 4ft.
• No posters should be attached to trees, street furniture, road signs or the Pumphouse. They must not be erected within the vicinity of any road sign or within 20ft of the road junction.
• The surface of the Green must be returned to that prior to the use when the posters are removed.
• Full responsibility to be accepted by the Licensee for any claim that might arise from the erection of the signs.
• Adhesive stickers will be supplied by the Parish Council and must be displayed on each of the signs. Any signs not displaying the stickers may be removed.
