The Parish Council started this informal scheme to help Sedlescombe residents who are finding it difficult to attend hospital/surgery appointments because of lack of transport. A list of names of drivers who are willing to provide lifts is published (see Parish Council notice board outside shop) and those wanting lifts simply make a telephone call to any one on the list and pay the driver (amount subject to change).
