There are 195 children on roll, aged 4-11 years. The school has
seven classes and is built in a beautiful, peaceful location within
the Village. All staff firmly believe, and work hard to achieve the
vision: Every child matters ~ Together we enjoy learning ~ Together we achieve ~
Together we succeed.
We have high standards and are particularly noted for our
music, sport and art achievements, and for our forward thinking developments in
‘Brain based learning’, ‘Makaton’ sign language and creativity. We believe in the
whole development of every child. We welcome parent/carer helpers and helpers
from the local community. We are an active, exciting, hard-working school with
bright, stimulating learning environments, and with a warm, caring Christian ethos.
Visits to our school are always welcomed.
School ICT Suite. The Village School has a high quality ICT Suite for use by
children of the school and the local community. Courses are
run in the evenings for adults of the Village. Please contact the
