The Trust has delegated management of the Trust land to the Parish Council.
This land comprises two hard tennis courts and a children's playground (equipment suitable for toddlers to 12 years of age), with several grass play areas. Contractors are employed to cut the grass and hedges. The Council arranges regular inspections.
In 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010, a major giant hogweed clearance programme is being managed to ensure the safety of children using the playground which is adjacent to the river where the giant hogweed has been proliferating.
The playground underwent a major refurbishment in the summer of 2006.
The tennis courts are available free of charge. |
