68.8 Overtime by PCSO. PC Cleverley has infomed the Council that 2.5 hours overtime cash was used on 12/12/06 for PCSO Crotch to attend a Buzz meeting regarding youths in Sedlescombe and the setting up of a Youth Club.
CS06/07.69 Community Safety officer.
Extract from Minutes of Crime & Anti-social Behaviour Forum 08/11/06 4.3) Clarification of Community Safety Officer – The Community Safety Officer should be a member of the community who can meet with victims of crime in their area. The victim should be put in touch with the Crime Prevention Officer, pass information to police, social services, etc. PCSOs visit victims of crime where possible in connection with victim contracts.
CS06/07.70 "No cold calling" zones
Extract from Minutes of Crime & Anti-social Behaviour Forum 08/11/06 5.1) ‘No Cold Calling Zone’ Packs and Scheme – SRP have approx 100 packs to be given to vulnerable residents within parishes. The packs contain information and advice. Home security equipment can be fitted free of charge if the criteria is met. On top of this there is a Scheme under which SRP could fund several parishes. The community has to demonstrate their commitment to the scheme. Bids by interested parishes will need to be received by CS at/by the next meeting.
