MONTHLY REPORT Sedlescombe January 2007
Shed Breaks
A series of shed and attempted shed breaks were reported throughout Sedlescombe in January. It is believed that they were carried out on the weekend of the Friday 5th and Satuarday 6th but some were not reported till the later due to the sheds not being in constant use. Most Breaks failed due to the security locks and alarms.
At present there are no lines of enquiry and House to House failed to bring any new evidence or suspects. PCSO Kemp and myself visited the victims of crime to reassurance and crime prevention advice.
House Burglary
Two house’s on the main road were broken into and One of the house’s a few items were stolen, house to house enquires were made with a negative result scene of crime attended. Enquiries continue.
The other house only one item were taken and house to house also negative result. The incidents appears to be linked. Sarah o’shaughnessy and myself visited the victims of crime to reassurance and crime prevention advice.
Drugs
A stop check in Sedlescombe resulted in a caution for possession controlled substance.

Kick-about-area EVT
There has been a increase of anti-social behaviour mainly consisting of shouting and swearing towards residents and on one incident items have been thrown toward property in East view terrace, WPC Cleverley and myself have made a visit to discuss a course of action with regard to the known group of youths. Another multi agency meeting has been arranged to share information and try to find a positive action plan.
