81.3 RR/2006/3467/P Blackman, Pavie & Ladden Site, Marley Lane. Business Park, Block C. Proposed industrial building and associated forecourt and parking areas including provision of new vehicular access pursuant to outline planning permission RR/2000/105/P as revised by planning permission RR/2004/3163/P. Cllr Rand reported on his inspection. RESOLVED: That, whilst supporting the proposal to bring employment to the area, the Parish Council is very concerned about the additional traffic that this development will bring.  It is essential that work at the A21/Marley Lane junction is undertaken before this building is complete.  This is a very large building and everything possible should be done to screen it in the AONB.  The coppice to the east must be preserved and reinforced especially considering current plans to remove trees at the A21/Marley Lane junction for the pipeline installation.

P06/07.82 GREAT SANDERS FRUIT FARM. The Clerk reported that she had been asked by the applicant of the recent RR/2006/3167/P to tell the Committee that her and her husband do make a living from the holding and that they could not afford a house on the open market. The application is to go to the Rother District Council Planning Committee in January.
