RESOLVED: That the Chairman is authorised to sign the Minutes of the Meeting of the Committee held on 29/07/2014

42 Planning Application

  1. RR/2014/1798/P Castlemans Oast, Church Hill, Sedlescombe TN33 0QP
    Porch extension to front elevation of domestic dwelling house.
    RESOLVED: That the Parish Council has no objections to this planning proposal
  2. RR/2014/1865/P Greensleeves, The Street, Sedlescombe TN33 0QG
    Removal of Detached Garage and Garden Shed. Erection of two storey extension. (Renewal of Consent approved under RR/2011/1643/P)
    RESOLVED: That the Parish Council has no objections to this planning proposal
  3. RR/2014/1961/TN Barnes Farm, Poppinghole Lane, Robertsbridge TN32 5BN
    To erect 1x10m wood pole 8.2m above ground for BT/Openreach.
    RESOLVED: That the Parish Council has no comments to make.

43 Current Appeals

  1. APPEAL NO. 2264 - RR/2014/147/P Brede Lane - land at, Sedlescombe.
    The erection of 18no. residential dwellings with associated access, car park parking and open space together with the transfer and change of use of land to be used as school playing fields.
    Cllr. Vine-Hall gave an update on the progress of Parish Council's case for appeal and meeting with Rother DC.
  2. APPEAL NO. 2279 - RR/2014/1017/P By the Way, Sandrock Hill,, Sedlescombe. Conversion of workshop/studio building to provide self-contained Holiday let and ancillary living accommodation (partly retrospective for renovation works)
    The Parish Council had no comments to make.
  3. APPEAL NO. 2274 - RR/2012/2398/P Spilsted Farm, Stream Lane, Sedlescombe.
    Remodel land to improve visibility in airstrip, including new temporary access for construction traffic.
    The Parish Council support's Rother District Councils decision to refuse planning permission.

  1. RR/2014/1581/P 9 Gorselands, Sedlescombe
    Proposed loft conversion to provide two additional bedrooms and one bathroom within a flat roof rear dormer window (Retrospective).
    APPROVED CONDITIONAL. Summary: The development permitted shall be retained in accordance with the approved plans. No windows or other openings (other than those expressly authorised by this permission) shall be inserted into the north west or south east elevations or roof slopes.
  2. RR/2014/1547/P The Candles, Battle Road, Staplecross, Robertsbridge
    Proposed Garage (Alternative to that approved under RR/2014/815/P).
    APPROVED CONDITIONAL. Summary: The development shall be carried out in accordance with the approved plans. The garage shall be used for garaging of private vehicles and domestic and garden storage only, and for no habitable accommodation or other purpose including any other purpose in Class C3 of the Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Order 1987. The building shall be used only for purposes incidental to the occupation and enjoyment of the dwelling as such, and not for any trade or business.
  3. RR/2014/1694/T Asselton House, The Green, Sedlescombe
    3 Large Oak Trees - To remove one low bough of each tree.
    The Service Manager - Strategy and Planning had confirmed, in exercise of his delegated authority on behalf of Rother DC, that he had NO OBJECTION to the removal of one lower branch from three oak trees situated in the rear garden of Asselton House, The Green, Sedlescombe.
