  1. To receive new written requests for dispensation.
    No requests received.
  2. To receive councillors' declarations of interest regarding matters on the agenda.
    Cllr. Vine-Hall declared a personal interest in item 89.1.a as recipient of a cheque for Chairman's Allowance amounting to £200.00

87 Approval of Minutes for the meeting held on 14-Jul-15
RESOLVED: That the Chairman is authorised to sign the Minutes of the meeting held on 14th July 2015.

An additional cheque was raised in favour of Sedlescombe Village Hall for room hire in July 2015 amounting to £10.00 to meet supplier terms.

90 Planning

  1. To consider response to planning applications.

    a. RR/2015/1634/P - Little Bushey, Meadow Lane, Sedlescombe
    Demolition of side porch. Construction of new driveway to access rear. Erection of new double garage. Adjustments to decking. Conversion of integral garage to habitable accommodation
    Cllr. Anson reported.
    RESOLVED: Parish Council supports approval subject to restricting the use of the new double garage to housing motor vehicle or vehicles and not to be used as a workshop.

    b. RR/2015/1678/P - Brickwall Cottage - Site Of, The Street, Sedlescombe
    New 3 bedroom dwelling
    Cllr. Glew reported.
    RESOLVED: Parish Council supports approval.

    c. RR/2015/1786/P - Ariel, Churchland Lane, Sedlescombe 
    Proposed Garden Room.
    Cllr. Vine-Hall reported
    RESOLVED: Parish Council supports approval.

    d. RR/2015/1809/P - Battle Barn Farm, New Road, Sedlescombe
    Demolition of existing dwelling and erection of contemporary replacement.
    Cllr. Parsons reported. Cllr. Chapman was not in favour of supporting the application

  2. To receive advice of decisions on previous applications

    Removal of existing signs on front and side facade. Replacement of signs with new sign for the shop and new post office sign.

91 Traffic Calming Projects - to receive an update on:-

  1. Restricted parking zone opposite the shop with extended path from pub to shop.
    Cllr. Vine-Hall reported that Sarah Valentine, Project Manager - Infrastructure Design and Delivery at ESCC had now sent through an indicative plan showing the footway proposal. Members reviewed the plan and identified some inaccuracies regarding the current layout which would be notified back to ESCC.
    RESOLVED: The amended plan to be circulated to residents for feedback with the next Parish Council Bulletin in October 2015.

  2. To receive an update on purchasing a Speed Gun.
    Cllr. Parsons reported that the Speed Gun had been ordered and paid for. He was now just waiting confirmation of the delivery date.

92 Battle Area Community Transport

  1. To consider a request for support with an application for the “Rother District Council Community Grant Scheme".
    RESOLVED: To send a letter to Rother DC supporting the 'Battle Area Community Transport' application for £5,000 of funding from the RDC Community Grant Scheme.

93 Dates, times and places of Council and Finance meetings for 2016.
