Queen's Head Post Office
Sedlescombe is a pleasant place to live. Despite losing many shops during the 20th century, you could say that residents have never been so well provided.

The shop/post office/off-licence supplies most day-to-day needs. It sells newspapers and confectionery, cigarettes, groceries, greetings cards, bread and hot pies, stationery, household goods, videos, reading glasses, chemist sundries and lottery tickets. Dry cleaning, laundry, shoe repairs and photo development can be left at the shop. Photocopying and send/receive fax facilities are available. Banking facilities are available and there is a cashpoint during shop hours.

Milk, as well as being sold in the shop, is delivered throughout the village. There is a Monday to Saturday post collection and delivery. The Garden Centre stocks a very wide variety of goods, even outdoor clothes and boots. New oak furniture and wines or fruit juices can be bought in the parish and there is a range of secondhand goods for sale in the Antiques Centre. There is a pub serving drinks and meals and an hotel with accommodation and a licensed restaurant. A beauty salon opened at the Clock House in 2009.
