Sedlescombe has very poor broadband and the Parish Council is working with the County Council to support the Local Broadband Plan. To do this we all need to set about enthusing and engaging our community.
By registering your support you will help the East Sussex County Council to get an idea of demand and enable them to demonstrate to the funders that they have Sedlescombe’s strong support in getting superfast broadband. Without this, it will be very much harder for them to draw down the funding allocated.
The Parish Council is extremely keen to coordinate the pent up demand for high speed broadband in the Village. It is already aware that some people and businesses are experiencing great frustration with the speeds currently being experienced. It is determined to do all it can to help the County Council to rectify this situation as soon as possible.
As a start, the Parish Council is encouraging individuals to register an interest. This will enable the Council to keep you in touch with progress on our local project and also, maybe, to provide extra help and information.
